The EIP London Programme aimed to prepare Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) teams and CCGs for the new standard introduced on 1 April 2016, and to ensure that more than 50 per cent of people across London are commencing NICE-concordant treatment within two weeks of referral. The success of the programme required frontline staff and senior level buy in. EI teams are reporting higher numbers of referrals and investment into EI teams has grown across London.
